The Study Day on the 20 October marked the start of the Army Staff Ride 2018, part of Operation REFLECT. It was planned to meet the Head of the Army’s intent to ‘mark the centenary of the First World War in a dignified, reflective and respectful manner to commemorate the sacrifice of our forebears, learn enduring lessons and educate ourselves and others.’ A challenge but a very worthy endeavour.

May I say what a privilege it has been working on this project with you and again thank you for your contribution.
